OUR 2023 ROOKIE CLASS
Do you have a passion for the game of Baseball? Are you a former Coach that wants to stay in the game? Maybe you're a parent that has kids that have grown up, moved away and gotten out of the house? Maybe you're a current or former baseball player that just loves the game? Need some extra cash being involved with the greatest game ever created?
Whatever the case may be, the EBUA Umpire Rookie Class may be just the right thing for you!
In March 2023, we will meet for three hours on 4 separate days, to go over the rules and differences between Little League, Cal Ripken and Federation (High School). We have discussions about the rules and their practical applications. We go over how to handle on the field situations. We demonstrate the proper techniques for your on the field mechanics and have top flight instruction for calling balls and strikes from some of the best NCAA & Independent League Umpires and former Minor League Crew Chiefs. Successful completion of the course results in you receiving a full schedule of games to work in the Spring, Summer and Fall, depending on your availability.

There is no better time to take advantage of an investment opportunity that will yield a positive return on your investment. In 2022, our average games worked per Umpire was over 60 games and 25 of our Umpires worked over 100 games! Game fees start at $70 per game for 1st year Umpires and up to $120 for our College Assignments.
EBUA provides Umpires throughout Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Counties, The Bronx, Manhattan, Western Connecticut and Fairfield County. This past 2022 Season - Fall, Spring and Summer combined- we provided Umpires for over 1,600 teams and assigned almost 16,000 games!!!
